Responsive website for generic medicine supplier in the UK
About the client
NorthStar is a supplier of high-quality generic medicines. I was engaged to establish their online presence in the UK with a website local to the region.
Besides the content, the logo, and brand book, I was given free range on the design.
The one page, mobile-friendly website features the brand colors in a bold way and the line illustrations make the complex concepts of the company’s core values more accessible. From concept to deployment, the website was completed in under 2 months and quickly rose the search results rankings within a couple days.
Departure from the U.S. website design
A US version of the website exists, but there was no requirement for the new UK version to resemble it. With the logo and packaging design guide as my only visual point of reference to draw from, I additionally researched the websites of competitors before diving into the creation of the wireframes and mockups.
From wireframe to mockup
The homepage combines a description of the company, its values, and contact information all on one page. In the future, it will eventually include a product listing, which could be incorporated to the existing navigation bar. The main call to action is to contact the company.
